This Ain’t Your Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie

Shock your family and the rest of your guests when you make this version of chocolate chip cookies for your next party or potluck.

They were doing a Spring carnival at my son’s school. I felt really bad because I had to work, and there was no way possible that I would be able to make it to volunteer. It was something that I had been doing since he started kindergarten. There was no way that I could get out of the project meeting that I had coming up though. I asked one of the event coordinators if there was something else that I could do to help out. She said that they could always use more baked goods for the kids.

Well, that would be a fine plan. There was a chocolate chip cookie bar recipe that I had been wanting to try out anyway, so this seemed like the ideal time to make it. I knew it would make a bunch of them, and there were sure to be a ton of children there.

I ended up making two batches of these delicious little morsels because when my son saw them come out of the oven, he started gobbling them up. Find out what’s so good about this recipe on the next page!
